Missouri River Fly Fishing

This past week we fished with the boys from Mass, self-proclaimed "Massholes". It was a pleasure to spend the week Missouri River Fly Fishing with them.
Rick, Shawn, Mike, and Kerry have spent the past few years fishing with us in the Missoula area and wanted to try something different. These guys were very motivated, eager to fish daily, and hilarious. Most of the days spent trout fishing the Missouri River we were catching fish and laughing!
Fishing was consistent this week despite the variable weather; sun, rain, hail, and wind couldn't stop these guys.
Blue-winged olives, caddis, and your classic tailwater nymphing patterns worked very well. The wind laid down for us during the last few hours yesterday for some very good dry fly fishing.
